Page Personnel Sales is proud to partner with a leading manufacturing business based in the UK, seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their Accounting & Finance department.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing financial guidance and support to the business, working closely with department heads and senior management to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to inform business decisions.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and profit maximisation.
  • Financial Planning: Support strategic planning by providing financial projections, scenario analysis, and financial modelling to inform business growth.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance and support on key business decisions.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure financial processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Highly Proficient Excel User: Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, look-up tables, and financial modelling.
  • Excellent Strategic Planning & Financial Analysis Skills: Ability to provide financial guidance and support to drive business growth.
  • Strong Understanding of Business Financial & Reporting Processes: Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Strong Communication, Negotiation & Relationship Building Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with department heads and senior management.
  • Professional Accreditation in Accounting & Finance: Relevant qualifications in Accounting & Finance, such as CIMA or ACCA.
