Job Title: Porter - London

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Porter to join our team at Universities. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of customer care and cleanliness, ensuring the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining the lobby and other public areas clean and tidy
  • Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff in setting up rooms or moving furniture
  • Handle reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations
  • Respond to customer requests where required
  • Run errands
  • Ensure customer safety by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or paints
Requirements:
  • Be adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Be an excellent communicator and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Have experience delivering high-quality customer care
  • Take initiative and make decisions that benefit our customers
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
