Job Title: Porter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Porter to join our Front of House team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Porter, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality Porter and Security service to all departments, staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a porter/security service to include delivery/collection of mail, linen, drugs, and other items as requested.
  • Assist patients with luggage and escort them to their rooms.
  • Check gauges and storage of gas bottles, changing them as necessary.
  • Inform patients of room facilities during room orientation.

Requirements:

  • Previous Porter experience is essential, ideally within healthcare.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads.
