Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at YMCA England & Wales. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer service, and promoting the work of YMCA within the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain a high-performing store team, ensuring excellent customer service and sales growth.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising and stock rotation strategies to maximize income and minimize waste.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, manage budgets, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Deputise for the Store Manager as needed, taking on additional responsibilities and leading the team in their absence.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive store culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and the community.
