Womenswear Buying and E-commerce Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Womenswear Buying and E-commerce Assistant to join our team at Manière De Voir.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Buying team in product sampling and development, managing the critical path and liaising with suppliers daily.
  • Manage samples throughout the Design and Buying process, communicating with Designers and Senior levels.
  • Collaborate with seniors to negotiate cost prices and meet required margins.
  • Maintain the sample library and conduct competitor analysis for pricing.
  • Liaise with suppliers and stock for E-commerce, Campaign, and Social shoots.
  • Prepare for monthly E-comm photoshoots and maintain online visual merchandising.
  • Conduct audits to spot errors and areas for improvement across websites.
  • Maximise sales potential through weekly reporting, checks, and maintenance.
  • Maintain the "Back in Stock" list with the Buying Team.
  • Support with migration and site syncing as needed.
  • Undertake web administrative tasks, creating products, collections, and organising SKU's.
  • Own the upload process for product releases across all sites.
  • Copywrite product descriptions for monthly releases.
  • Assist with warehouse intake for new releases and restocks.
  • Support Assistant Buyer/Merchandiser with promotional activities and web tasks.
  • Provide assistance to the team for Buying/Merchandising/Marketing meetings.
  • Monitor and control stock movement within the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's full-time work experience in the relevant field.
  • Excellent written skills for email and copywriting.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with Shopify platform and Inventory Planner app is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Matrixify app is desirable.
  • Hard-working with a passion for the fashion industry.
  • Flexible to suit business needs and willing to provide essential support.
  • Conscientious with a high-level of attention to detail.
  • Organised and able to manage task priority.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000 p/a
