Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandising and Buying Specialist to join our Womenswear Buying team at Manière De Voir.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with the Buying team to source high-quality products and negotiate best possible prices.
  • Manage product sampling and development processes, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of product information, including specifications, prices, and inventory levels.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with designers and senior team members to ensure seamless execution of merchandise plans.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and visual merchandising across all channels.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year full-time work experience in fashion merchandising or buying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Degree in Fashion, Business, or related field preferred.

Salary: £26,000 per annum
