{"The Opportunity": "Water Resources East (WRE) is seeking an experienced stakeholder lead to drive forward a programme of catchment and sub-catchment scale Environmental Destination investigations. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape long-term plans, investment, and collaborative action that cuts across sectors and scales in securing improvements to the water environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Building trust between all parties involved in the programme to support the development of collaborative solutions and reach consensus around environmental aims.
* Acting as WRE's lead point of contact with agricultural sector representatives and the relevant teams within the Environment Agency and Natural England.
* Supporting the development of a Water Abstractor Group (WAG) toolkit and Local Resource Option (LRO) screening studies.
* Running WRE's Agriculture Forum and supporting the team in the day-to-day running of the 'virtual' office.

Requirements:

* Energetic, experienced, and confident stakeholder lead with a passion for caring for the natural world.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and consensus among stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively with regulators, water companies, farming, energy, and environmental groups.
* Experience in catchment and sub-catchment scale Environmental Destination investigations and water resources planning.
