The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage a range of high-value contracts, working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery. With a focus on business-critical contracts, the role will involve working with individual contracts across indirect categories of spend, ranging from £5m to £20m.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-day management of business-critical contracts
- Strategic management of relationships with key suppliers
- Management of KPIs/Service Level Agreements
- Advice and coaching of stakeholders on best practice
- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
To succeed in this role, the candidate will require demonstrable contract management experience, with a strong understanding of best practice and processes in procurement. Excellent communication skills, a flexible and emotionally intelligent approach to stakeholder management, and a self-motivated and solutions-focused approach to work are essential.
The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, be able to work in a highly collaborative environment, and have a strong understanding of procurement and contract management principles.
