About Our Job

We're looking for a talented Automated Process Engineer to join our team in Glenrothes, Fife. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing automated process control systems, using your expertise in PLC programming and SCADA to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. Your Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the control manager/senior engineer to identify opportunities for growth and develop the DPS Group client base.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client specifications and current legislation.
- Develop and implement automation and process control system solutions, including testing, commissioning, and documentation as required for all projects and tasks.
- Use your technical expertise to provide recommendations for improving existing processes and identifying new opportunities for innovation and growth.

Requirements
- BSc or BEng in Engineering/Science or an equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering.
- Proven experience in controls systems engineering, with a strong understanding of Siemens and/or Rockwell Automation and/or Schneider Electric latest automation and process control systems.
- Familiarity with DCS systems, including PCS7 and PlantPAx, and simulation tools like SIMIT is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience in working with clients and presenting solutions effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using your initiative to complete projects on time and within budget.
