About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Trader to join our Global Trading Unit (GTU) in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing GIC's investment decisions across public markets, providing best execution to portfolio managers, and delivering differentiated market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Harvest and deliver market intelligence on single stocks and macro themes to portfolio managers and senior management.
  • Work closely with colleagues from the Applied Research Unit (ARU) and Technology Group (TG) to gain insights from trading data and improve trading technology.
  • 2+ years of trading experience in equity markets (cash EQ, options, swaps).
  • Affinity to take intra-day and inter-day market timing risks to deliver strong execution outcomes.
  • Ability to program in Python and passion for gaining insights from data.
