Make a Difference as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Porth. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to gain rewarding experience and make a real difference in the lives of children with SEN. You will work closely with the teaching staff to provide one-to-one and general support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to pupils with SEN in the classroom
  • Assist pupils with their learning and development
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Support pupils with their social and emotional needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
  • A proactive work ethic and a patient attitude
  • A good understanding of special educational needs and the ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • The ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
