Job Title: Site Technical Manager

VickerStock is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Technical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical aspects of our site are running smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining HACCP-based quality systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the site's technical policy, providing input into the overall business strategy, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the site's technical policy, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Provide input into the overall business strategy and ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Implement and maintain a HACCP-based quality system, ensuring required approvals are achieved and food quality/safety/integrity/legality standards are consistently met.
  • Audit the factory environment and activities to identify areas for improvement and ensure the site management team is continuously improving standards.
  • Manage and develop the technical team, including recruitment, training, and performance monitoring.
Requirements:
  • 3rd Level qualification in a relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in quality management.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry, with knowledge of BRC Standards, HACCP, and food legislation.
