Market Manager, Grade 14

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Market Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Adult Social Care team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to support the care market in Croydon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including care providers, commissioners, and other partner organizations.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide insights to inform commissioning decisions.
  • Work closely with the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and other Council departments to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Support the development of cost tools and cost negotiations to ensure value for money and statutory care/support.
  • Lead on the Council's annual programme of inflation/cost of care.
  • Develop a programme of work to review the care market and identify opportunities to achieve value for money and promote independence for our residents.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in market analysis, development, and management.
  • Strong understanding of the care market and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
