About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Excell Supply. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a primary school environment, supporting the learning and development of children aged between 3 and 11.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with groups of children and supporting their learning
  • Following instructions and guidance given by the class teacher
  • Ensuring children's safety in and out of the classroom
  • Supervising children during playtime and lunchtime
  • Preparation of classroom materials
  • Observing and feeding back to the class teacher about the children's learning
  • Effectively managing off-task behaviours

About You:

We are looking for an individual with experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity. You should have transferable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, and caring and helpful qualities.
