Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Cambian Fenton Grange School. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with vulnerable children and young people, and will be able to provide support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs, including those with behavioural problems and a history of trauma.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual learning plans.
  • Assist with the delivery of educational programs and activities, and provide feedback to students on their progress.
  • Support students with their emotional and social development, and help them to build positive relationships with their peers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student support and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with vulnerable children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, and to take initiative and responsibility for own work.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Commitment to the values and principles of The Cambian Group, and to the provision of high-quality education and support to students.
