About the Role
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ENT Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Consultant ENT Surgeon, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Head & Neck service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a specialist service in Ear, Nose and Throat department, working closely with Consultant and Senior colleagues.
- Participate in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department, providing telephone advice and support for major incidents.
- Take part in medical audit and research, ensuring the requirements of clinical governance are met.
- Ensure adequate arrangements are in place for hospital staff to contact you when necessary.
- Play a full part in the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.
- Take responsibility for teaching, examination and accreditation duties for junior medical staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new ways of working in line with modernisation principles and fit for the future.
