We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a brand-new Residential Children's Home in Salisbury. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children with complex needs, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, and other team members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Participate in planning and delivering activities that promote growth and development, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and standards, ensuring the highest standards of care.
About You:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in health and social care, or equivalent desirable.
- Experience working with children and young adults in a care setting or a desire to do so.
- Understanding of Ofsted standards and regulations is a plus.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting young people, with a strong commitment to their well-being.
- Must be a driver with a car.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 160 hours per month.
- Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off.
- Additional: Approximately 10 sleep-in sessions per month (paid at £65 per session).
