We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Gold Care Homes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Manage kitchen staff by delegating tasks, providing training and guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents, including special dietary requirements and seasonal menus.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with our management team to ensure that our culinary services meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Monitor inventory and implement strategies to reduce food waste and optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, scheduling repairs and replacements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Licensure from the FDA or equivalent regulatory body, as applicable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
