Job Title: Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team on an ongoing contract with a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs, as well as General Plumbing works, including:

  • Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and controls associated with central heating
  • Isolating and capping radiator valves
  • Replace/Install Radiators and pipework
  • Replace 2 & 3 port control valves and wiring controls
  • Upgrading of hot and cold systems pipework
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
  • ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
  • Side Van (plain or sign written)
  • Gas Safe Registration
  • Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
  • £2m Public Liability Insurance
