Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support one of our key clients in the Aerospace industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with experience in producing engineering outputs and managing process planning.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing process planning outputs, liaising with design and manufacturing supply chain, and developing and managing current production processes to improve quality, cost, and time measures.

The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering or equivalent, with proven practical engineering and manufacturing knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Produce Engineering Outputs: Meet on-target delivery dates and quality requirements for engineering outputs, such as routings and SOIs.
  2. Create and Implement Process Planning Outputs: Develop and implement process planning outputs in line with the client's procedures.
  3. Liaise with Design and Manufacturing Supply Chain: Work with design and manufacturing supply chain to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Develop and Manage Current Production Processes: Improve quality, cost, and time measures by developing and managing current production processes.
Requirements
  1. Engineering Degree or Equivalent: A degree in engineering or equivalent, with proven practical engineering and manufacturing knowledge and experience.
  2. SAP ARP/APD Experience: Experience with SAP ARP/APD.
  3. Aerospace Wing Build and Assembly Experience: Experience in aerospace wing build and assembly.
  4. Proactive Team Player: A proactive team player with a focus on delivery and quality.
