We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our People and Organisation Development Strategy.
This is a hybrid working role, based primarily in our office. As an HR Generalist, you will enjoy the opportunity to get involved in the day-to-day challenges of HR while working on exciting forward-thinking projects.
The Ideal Candidate will be a team player with a track record of working successfully as an HR Generalist. An up-to-date knowledge of employment law and an understanding of how this can impact our business is essential. This is a generalist HR role where you will act as the first point of contact and demonstrate your ability to build strong working relationships, dealing with HR queries from staff and managers, providing accurate and timely advice.
A typical day working as an HR Generalist may include:
- Providing first line HR advisory services regarding employee relations.
- Supporting managers across the organisation in people management.
- Supporting managers with absence management.
- Handling maternity and paternity requests.
- Assisting with the updating of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Managing HR information systems for data and statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities
This is a part-time (20 hours per week) role that is fixed term until further notice, with a salary of £17,602 - £19,107 per annum. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is essential.
The post is open to hybrid working, subject to Basic DBS.
