Support Worker

Superior Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our dynamic team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism to develop independence and personal growth.
  • Assist with daily living skills, including cooking, shopping, and personal care, while promoting autonomy.
  • Plan and facilitate activities that promote social, cognitive, and motor skills, such as arts and crafts, games, and sensory experiences.
  • Engage clients in community-based activities and outings, helping them build confidence and connections.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to the needs of service users and the organization.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism.
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of work per week.
  • Access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
