Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain

Hanover Fox International is a €billion, highly profitable international group with a strong track record of growth. With a mixed portfolio of well-established brands, the company continues to expand its operations in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food, and industrial products.

The company's vision for the future includes further expansion and double-digit growth, making it an exciting time to join their senior leadership team as Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing and supply chain activities across two business units in Cornwall, managing a combined headcount of approximately 400 employees.

The Role:

  • As Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for creating a collaborative and empowering environment where your teams can thrive, providing regular feedback, mentoring, and coaching opportunities to support continuous development.
  • You will develop SMART objectives for and with team colleagues and departments to improve business performance.
  • You will design and implement best practice manufacturing and supply chain strategies, along with processes and procedures to drive business improvement.
  • You will deputise for the Managing Director during periods of absence or holidays and/or attend key meetings and events on their behalf as required.
  • You will work closely with the Continuous Improvement Lead to direct and successfully implement a Lean Business strategy to achieve world-class standards.
  • You will collaborate with the Finance Business Partner and department leads to develop the annual budget and forecasts, as well as Capital Expenditure proposals, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • You will proactively contribute to new business initiatives and projects, reviewing and communicating the impact on manufacturing and supply chain activities.
  • You will identify infrastructure improvements required and develop a compelling business case to secure necessary investments.
  • You will leverage your leadership and project management skills to deliver timely and budgeted support, meeting corporate objectives.

The Person:

  • With demonstrable experience of leading manufacturing and supply chain functions, you have a proven track record in strategic manufacturing and supply chain strategies, processes, and systems.
  • You possess strong business acumen, gained through practical experience and/or formal education in Business Management.
  • You are a skilled leader and manager, able to optimise team performance and development, fostering a culture of Diversity and Inclusion.
