About the Role

This full-time position involves leading a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff, providing top-quality care and treatment to a diverse range of animals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring seamless clinic operations during their shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Veterinary Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, performing routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency treatments as required.
  • Lead by Example: Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous learning.
  • Record Keeping and Administration: Maintain precise and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Clinic Operations: Ensure efficient and smooth clinic operations during assigned shifts, prioritizing patient needs and workflow management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Veterinary Degree: Hold a veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and be committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Preferably possess experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
