About the Role:We are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon with excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare. As a Veterinary Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the veterinary team, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
The practice currently consists of a four vet team, one of whom possesses a certificate in surgery. With fully equipped facilities, including a separate operating theatre, digital x-ray capabilities, ultrasound equipment, and endoscopy resources, you will have access to an array of essential tools to deliver high-quality patient care.
A RCVS accredited practice located in a bustling market town in Nottingham is seeking a skilled individual who aspires to excel in their field and approaches their work with unwavering enthusiasm. Our client can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the veterinary team and mentor junior staff
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care through regular checks and monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to practice protocols and procedures
