Job Title: Sessional ESOL Tutors

Croydon Council is seeking experienced ESOL tutors to join our team of educators. As a sessional ESOL tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English language skills to students of all levels, from Pre-Entry to Level 2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English language skills to students in a classroom setting
  • Prepare learners for progression and accreditation
  • Use a range of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
Requirements:
  • Qualification in teaching or training (CELTA or equivalent)
  • Experience of teaching ESOL to students of all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
