Job Title: ESOL Tutor

Croydon Council is seeking a qualified ESOL Tutor to join our team. As an ESOL Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English language skills to students of all levels, from Pre-Entry to Level 2 EFL or ESOL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English language skills to students in a classroom setting
  • Prepare learners for progression and accreditation as required
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote language learning
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback

Requirements:

  • Qualification in ESOL teaching (CELTA or equivalent)
  • Teaching or training qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent)
  • Experience of teaching all levels from Pre-Entry to Level 2 EFL or ESOL
  • IT skills essential
