Business Analyst Job Description

About the Role:

The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements of technology solutions. Working in partnership with subject matter experts and IT teams, the successful candidate will identify and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Group IT Project Management Office to support IT areas such as Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Modern Workplace, and Collaboration.
  • Establish and implement business analysis elements, including business case development, project scoping, and requirements gathering.
  • Analyze data to support business case creation and perform impact assessments during early project phases.
  • Gather and refine requirements, working collaboratively with stakeholders, including project managers and technical architects/delivery teams.
  • Provide training to users and/or trainers to facilitate knowledge transfer to BAU teams at project closure.

Requirements:

  • Business Analyst experience within IT or similar roles/sectors.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, dealing with people from all levels of the business.
  • Ability to identify and map technology requirements against strategic objectives.
