Job Title: HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at MWH Treatment Limited in Derby. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the development and deployment of our people plan, working closely with stakeholders and line managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent, and develop approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the people agenda in line with the business and HR strategy, including talent management and organizational development.
  • Work with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing.
  • Maintain positive relationships with the central HR functions.
  • Support the HR service team to manage employee relations issues when required.
  • Take an active role in future talent processes, such as graduate recruitment.
  • Undertake and lead HR project work as identified.
  • Work closely with the L&D team to provide support in the coordination of training and development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.
  • Work with the L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored, and reported.
  • Meet regularly with the HR Director to ensure the consistency and alignment of all the HR processes and strategies (globally and locally).

Requirements:

  • Extensive senior advisory/partnering experience within a professional Human Resources function.
  • Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of employment law principles.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, including minimum intermediate level Excel and Word.
  • Fully CIPD qualified, preferably Chartered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills, a flexible approach, pro-active self-starter, action-oriented, resilient with a can-do attitude.
  • Understanding and experience of manpower planning, resourcing.
