SEN Children's Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a SEN Children's Learning Support Assistant at NYKays Ltd. This role involves working with children who have complex needs, including PMLD and ASD, to provide one-to-one support and promote their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with PMLD and ASD, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Assist in the classroom, helping teachers to deliver personalized lesson plans.
- Assist with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Implement behavioural strategies to promote positive behaviour and manage challenging behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to teachers as necessary.
- Participate in Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.
Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time), depending on experience
