SEN Learning Support Assistant

Role Overview:
Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist unit in a mainstream primary school. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the SEN Teacher to deliver tailored learning experiences for children with diverse Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the SEN Teacher to plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, adapting resources and strategies to suit diverse learning styles.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), tracking student progress and providing feedback.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
- Work as part of the SEN team, liaising with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and other staff to ensure cohesive support for pupils.
Experience & Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting is required.
- Knowledge of supporting children across KS1 and KS2 is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
Benefits:
