At Arriva Kent Thameside Limited, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Bus Driver Trainee to join our team. As a Bus Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that passengers have a positive experience.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to the bus or passengers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Have a valid UK driving license and at least 6 months of driving experience.
- No more than 6 points on your driving license.
- Pass a drug and alcohol test before starting the assessment.
- Pass an English comprehension test.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
