Job Description

Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth migration of legacy data into our NetSuite edERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Migration: Provide support to the data migration lead in the migration of legacy data into NetSuite edERP in accordance with the project plan.
  2. Data Quality: Review legacy data to identify data quality issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  3. Data Extraction: Perform data extractions from the legacy system into Excel and review the data for quality and accuracy.
  4. User Liaison: Liaise with users throughout the data preparation stages to ensure that their needs are met.
  5. Issue Resolution: Co-ordinate with users to resolve issues identified with the quality of the data.
  6. Data Preparation: Co-ordinate with users in the preparation of other data that are not in the legacy system that is required for NetSuite, such as email addresses, third-party payers, fees, discounts, and academic calendar.
  7. Safeguarding: Ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy and engage in safeguarding training when required.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis and/or cleansing and at least 3+ years of experience in systems implementation.
  2. Skills: Strong Excel user skills along with data migration ETL methodology, T-SQL, Excel VBA, Accounting, and ETL Methodology.
  3. Language: English as primary language.

Technical Skills:

  3. Accounting
  4. ETL Methodology

Location: The role will be based remotely at present with the need to attend the office as and when required.

Compensation: The rate for this role will be circa £300 to £400 per day.

Contract Duration: The duration for this contract assignment will be 6 months.
