**Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management Software Engineering Manager**

At Moody's Investors Service, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering efforts in developing cutting-edge solutions for Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management.

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality software development practices and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Strategy, UX, and other cross-functional teams to define and execute the technology roadmap, aligning with the overall business strategy.
  • Drive technical innovation and excellence in software development, including the adoption of the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensure the delivery of scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions, meeting the needs of our customers and the market.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and support, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive experience in software engineering and within a leadership role managing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in software engineering principles and architecture, with expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as different teams across the operating unit.
  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, or financial services domains would be beneficial but is not required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
