As a BI Technical Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects and work streams that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop project scope and objectives, and identify and evaluate options for project delivery.
- Prepare project documentation and plans, and ensure that IT solution requirements are defined, delivered, and monitored.
- Establish quality control procedures and ensure that they are used correctly.
- Develop schedules and work packages for the IT project delivery team, and manage hand-over of responsibility for the IT solution to business-as-usual support.
- Make decisions that impact the success of assigned projects, including results, deadlines, and budget.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, collect and use feedback to measure effectiveness, and implement a communications strategy.
- Provide effective leadership to the project team and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
- Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets, taking account of information security of third parties.
- Significant previous experience in an IT-focused role, with 5+ years' experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, with a Master's degree desirable or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) from PMI, and Scrum Master Certification.
This is a hybrid remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home and in the office.
