Certified Helicopter Avionics and Electrical Engineer

The B2 Licensed Engineer is a critical position within our team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our helicopter fleet. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft.
Main Responsibilities- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor
- Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft
- Complete maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems
- Replace avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability
- Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and the certification of their work
- Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in Av workshop as required
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems
- Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems
- Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM)
- Flight/Airport Operations
- Aircraft Line Maintenance
- CAA Part 66 B2 Licence
- 3 years experience in a certifying role
- Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS
- Experience with SAP and ERP software
- Type Rating and experience H135/H145
- Experience of Airbus Helicopters products
- Experience of Military Aviation
