We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Care Manager to join our team at Aspris Childrens Services Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of care practitioners in a residential setting, providing high-quality care and support to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of care practitioners in a residential setting, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of young people, staff, and the community.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as education and therapy services, to ensure young people receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
Requirements:
- Significant experience as a care practitioner, with a proven track record of managing teams in a residential setting.
- Level 5 Diploma/DipSW qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Ability to put young people at the centre of all decision-making, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
- Full driving license, with a clean driving record.
