An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to work in a leading care home based in the UK. You will be working for a reputable healthcare provider.

This care home provides residential care in a purpose-built setting, situated within beautifully landscaped grounds.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

As a Senior Care Assistant, your key duties include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of care assistants to provide high-quality care to residents.
  • Supporting residents with personal care needs and helping them participate in activities that support their health and wellbeing.
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Passion for caring for older people.
  • Previous care experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, manage time, and prioritize tasks.

This is a permanent part-time role for 33 hours a week, working through nights.
