Job Summary:
Pertemps Redditch Industrial seeks a skilled and experienced Welding Site Manager to lead and oversee a team of welder/fabricators on-site. The successful candidate will combine hands-on welding and fabrication work with leadership responsibilities, driving workplace organisation, maintaining production continuity, and fostering a positive and productive environment.

The Role:
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional to bring both technical expertise and supervisory skills to the team. You will conduct daily start-up meetings to address any Safety, Quality, or Delivery issues, resolve queries related to documentation, drawings, and specifications, and actively lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a small team of welder/fabricators, motivating and guiding them to meet daily objectives.
  • Operational Management: Conduct daily start-up meetings to address any Safety, Quality, or Delivery issues, and resolve queries related to documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a well-organised, clean, and compliant worksite.
  • Resource Management: Manage consumables, including gas, wire, and other essentials, to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Policy Compliance: Enforce company policies, address non-compliance, and conduct investigations or disciplinary meetings as needed.

Estimated Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.
