Agricultural Liaison Officer Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Liaison Officer to join our Infrastructure Projects team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across the UK.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in agriculture and rural affairs, with excellent communication skills and the ability to problem-solve. You will be responsible for liaising with landowners and their agents, facilitating works, and ensuring contractors adhere to project obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with third-party stakeholders regarding land and land drainage matters.
- Arrange pre-entry records of condition, including identification of existing crops and drainage issues.
- Ensure contractors are aware of agreement provisions and manage lands agreements.
- Follow up on requests from landowners for land drainage and construction drawings.
- Discuss accommodation works with landowners, including water troughs, accesses, and fencing.
- Assist the project team with crossing points, including installation, maintenance, and removal.
- Keep landowners advised about construction matters and project requirements.
- Interpret construction drawings relative to land rights mapping.
- Assist the construction team with land access and boundary removal/reinstatement specifications.
An attractive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location:Ipswich-based, with flexible working arrangements possible.
