About the Role

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for operating manual lathes, milling machines, pillar drills, and jig borers to produce high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual lathes, milling machines, pillar drills, and jig borers to produce high-precision components.
  • Perform assembly work and soldering tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of mechanical tools and equipment.
  • Participate in repetitive tasks with the opportunity to diversify as skills grow.
  • Adhere to manufacturing techniques to achieve the required precision in manufacturing.
  • Contribute to the production of test probes used by leading universities, multinational electronics companies, and space exploration firms.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers, with opportunities for long-term career growth.
Requirements

What We Offer

The salary offered for this position is £18,000- £25,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
