Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Expert Employment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Research Design and Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic enclosures and housing for high-power temperature-regulated devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic enclosures and housing using CAD software and SolidWorks.
  • Work across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and certification to global industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain precision electronic and industrial enclosure designs.
  • Apply knowledge of sheet metal, CNC machining, and plastic moulding to create high-quality products.
  • Apply geometric tolerances, CFD, and thermal management principles to optimize product performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with CAD software and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of thermal analysis and precision electronic enclosure design.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, CNC machining, and plastic moulding.
  • Desirable skills: geometric tolerances, CFD, and thermal management.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defence, or Automotive.
