Our Team

You'll join our Medical Negligence team, led by Zoe Brodrick, Legal Director and Team Leader, who manages a team of lawyers in our Sheffield office. The team deals with all different types of negligence, including missed fractures, delays in diagnosis, negligent surgical procedures, and fatal cases involving adults and children.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Litigation Support Specialist, where no two days are the same. You'll be a confident communicator and highly organized to provide key case support to both Case Handlers and the team's Administrators. You'll regularly liaise with clients and work collaboratively with Case Handlers to provide chargeable support to progress legal cases.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure actions on case correspondence are taken
  • Request relevant medical records
  • Support the funding process
  • Create court documents
  • Delegate non-chargeable administration duties
  • Liaise with experts and organize key meetings with counsel, experts, and clients
  • Provide supporting information to Partners and Team Leaders

We're looking for someone with prior legal administration experience and a proven background in a similar support administration role.
