Key Responsibilities- Sort and prioritize clinical post for GPs in terms of actions
- Signpost documents to other healthcare professionals, such as clinical pharmacists
- Extract information from clinical letters and add to patient records
- Arrange appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments for patients
- Prepare patients for GP consultations, taking brief clinical histories and performing basic assessments
- Conduct basic administrative tasks, such as completing insurance forms and benefits agency forms
- Support GPs with immunisations and wound care
- Good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English A to C
- Experience working with the general public and in an NHS setting, preferably primary care
- Understanding of community services and personalized care
- Experience managing a complex administrative role
