As a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care, while also contributing to the development of the neonatal team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage the physical and emotional needs of critically ill newborns and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide education and support to families on neonatal care and development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Minimum of 6 months paid experience in a neonatal unit within the last 2 years.
