About the Role

RWE Supply & Trading is seeking a talented Graduate Developer to join our team. As a Graduate Developer, you will be part of our IT functions, driving efficiency and innovation across our business.

You will work closely with leading technology companies, using new, agile techniques and technologies to deliver high-quality solutions. Our Graduate Programme has been designed to give you the chance to shape your own career path and personal development, with a community of support to help you succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Application development
  2. Embedded IT for our commercial business
  3. Enterprise Integration focus on the transport layer
  4. Market Data Solutions for decision-making and automated trading
  5. Central Services positioned in middle layer applications
  6. IT projects with business attention

You will have the opportunity to increase your IT stack and business knowledge, develop competence in a range of IT languages, and build a good awareness of different working cultures.

Requirements and Experiences

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree in IT or a similar statistical or numerate subject
  2. Fluent English
  3. A positive approach to working in a team
  4. Motivation by taking on new challenges
  5. A commercial and analytical mind
  6. The ability to adapt and learn quickly
  7. An enthusiasm for developing your skills and exploring new opportunities
  8. Knowledge of at least one programming language
  9. Passion for IT development and working in a DevOps environment
  10. Openness to travelling to multiple locations
