We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Condensed Matter Physics. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of condensed matter physics, with a focus on experimental investigations of magnetic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct internationally competitive research in condensed matter physics, with a focus on experimental investigations of magnetic systems.
- Develop and lead research projects, including the design and implementation of experiments, data analysis, and publication of results.
- Teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in condensed matter physics, including lectures, tutorials, and research projects.
- Contribute to the development of the department's research strategy and goals, including the identification of new research opportunities and the development of proposals for funding.
- Collaborate with other researchers within the department and across the university to advance the field of condensed matter physics.
- Engage in departmental and university service, including committee work, mentoring, and outreach activities.
- PhD in Physics or a related field.
- Strong research background in condensed matter physics, with a focus on experimental investigations of magnetic systems.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills, with experience in teaching and supervising students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
