About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for designing and building electrical and hardware systems to achieve successful acceptance. You will also be working closely with the Royal Navy to support their various capacities.

What You Will Do
  1. You will engage in hardware engineering activities, including helpdesk support, ship support visits, hardware delivery and installation, design activities, integration, and verification & validation.
  2. You will use your expertise to handle hardware design and interconnectivity, addressing design issues due to obsolescence.
  3. You will work closely with customers and/or suppliers to resolve complex problems and maintain awareness of priorities and objectives.
  4. You will make engineering decisions within assigned responsibilities and delegated authority.
  5. You will maintain a level of SQEP through personal and professional development.
  6. You will produce technical reports, plans, and present information to management and peers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware engineering
  • Knowledge of COTS hardware and blade technology
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and paid time off.
