We are seeking an experienced and qualified Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people in our care.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the Statement of Purpose is in place and reflects the needs of the young people in our care.
- Develop effective communication strategies and systems to support staff in their duties.
- Manage and develop quality direct services to young people, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented.
- Identify and meet staff training and development needs, providing support and guidance as required.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for young people and staff.
- Monitor and evaluate standards at individual, team, and service quality levels.
- Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work well as part of a small team.
- Be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as needed.
- A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night, with potential extra earnings.
- Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times.
- 6 weeks annual leave entitlement.
