Residential Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people in our care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Statement of Purpose is in place and reflects the needs of the young people in our care.
  • Develop effective communication strategies and systems to support staff in their duties.
  • Manage and develop quality direct services to young people, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Identify and meet staff training and development needs, providing support and guidance as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for young people and staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate standards at individual, team, and service quality levels.
Requirements
  • Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work well as part of a small team.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as needed.
