Residential Team Leader

North Lakes Children's Services is seeking an experienced Residential Team Leader to join our team based in Carlisle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a purposeful, caring, and therapeutic environment for our young people.
About the Role:- Share in creating a therapeutic environment for our young people
- Apply high professional standards of care and support for the young person's social, emotional, and/or behavioural needs
- Supervise and support the continued professional development of a small team of staff
- Lead a shift, making well-judged decisions in line with care plans
- Manage monies for activities and daily needs of the children
- Monitor and check staff duties
- Take part in rostered sleep-in duties
- Develop programmes to improve children's progress and interaction
- Hold Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Be willing to learn and work well as part of a small team
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as and when needed
- A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night
- Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times
- 6 weeks annual leave entitlement
